And who says I'm not hands on?
Recently arrived back from Milan. I was working with Andrea and my team on a really limited hands on project. I am testing the application of a heat burnishing pen here, that I can use to mark every single piece of leather I will be doing. I used to use these heat pens back in the day to cut frisket film for stencils...particualrly when airbrushing or using aerosol. The smell is really different on leather than PVC or plastics. The effect of hand burnishing is really nice. The secret is all in the leather itself.
I don't know what this tool that I am holding is called...but I know that it cuts holes thru leather. A leather punch? It looks like something from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
This was a quick test on prototypes--- about 60% there. stay tuned. By the way, I didnt pick the background music--just for the record. These items will be extra to the exclusive hard to find...
