It's a bouncing baby boy!!!!!! Big up Chester Zoo, UK!!!

Congratulations are in order to my friends at the Chester Zoo in England. I was there this past fall. One of the majestic Black Rhino's I sponsor there--Kitana, just gave birth in the last 24 hours to a beautiful baby boy. Mom and baby are doing great! Check out the images they just sent me. This really just officially made my day.
These guys are trully other worldly and magical. I have had the luxury of being close to them-- to feed them, and there is nothing in the world like a brand new baby rhino.

That's wonderful! Look how the baby rhino has no horn yet. It must be so that it comes out without hurting the mom in the process of birth. It looks so much darker than I would expect. The folks at the zoo must be very happy.
