New 4x4 Mini-Cooper concept car

L'Automobile is a French auto magazine. I picked it up in Airport in Paris this week. I don't read or speak French. That said, the pictures tell it all. This is an image of the new 4x4 Mini Cooper concept car. The interior is sick, and I love the coloration. It's extra 70's G.I. Joe. Peep how one seat is pine green leather, and the other is milk chocolate. For me, it's the materials and colors that make this thing sing. I'm not really a "mini-cooper" guy--I alays see women driving them. But this one seems bad ass. I'd drive this f'er through the dessert.

Oh dam! Look what that back seat door is doing. Is the mini just going to evolve into another SUV? Different color seats is brilliant. Automobiles could go wild with more asymmetrical designs. I believe that's what makes Star Wars vehicles so cool.
