"I wouldn't hit on 20," Favre said. "But I sure would hit on 16."

Brett Favre has Balls, no doubt. He is a gunslinger, who can't help himself-- even when he is winning...he has to risk it-- like betting on 20 in a blackjack game of 21. Maybe that is why we love him, and love to hate him. Atleast the Jets won. Phew---
Above: A pass by Favre was picked off by Jabari Greer and he returned the interception 42 yards for a touchdown to make it a 23-17 game with 10:53 remaining. It was the third time this year that Favre had a pick returned for a score. Bet on 20????
from the glabe and mail.
Yesterday afternoon, 11 minutes to go in the fourth quarter, on the road, up by 13 points, first down for the New York Jets in their own end of the field. The book of conventional wisdom says it's time to kill some clock, run the ball, be careful. And instead, there he was, dropping back and slinging it downfield.
Favre got hit as he threw, the wounded duck that resulted was picked off and run back for a touchdown, and the Buffalo Bills (temporarily) had new life.
