Kaws-- at Gering & Lopez Gallery

Last night I visited my good friend-- artist Brian "Kaws" Donnely. He is a real gamechanger. I have been a fan of Brians for the better part of a decade. Visit his site at http://www.kawsone.com/shop

The show was crisp-- and tight.  It is at the "Gering & Lopez Gallery" on 5th Avenue in NYC.  Worth a visit for sure.  All the paintings are done like giant animation cells. It was a great time.  Amazing to seeold friends and faces there.

I was geeking out on the sculptures he did of his own head...signature cap and all.  Brian how many of those black hats do you have?

Jon Matos aka "Crash"-- living graf legend was in the house. I caught up with Carlos "Mare 139" Rodriguez-- who is working on a show-- peep his work at http://www.mare139.com/

Chatted up the "change" and the economy with Eric Haze. Visit him at http://www.interhaze.com/

I busted my man Pete Wentz for having a lame business card. Pete! Lemme' design a business card for you homey-- the one you have looks like an accountants from Westchester! Let's go!

Todd "REAS" James and I shared a chicken satay moment and a bromance. He cracks me the fuck up! Check his art and blog at http://www.reasinternational.com/
