EXCLUSIVE: VIDEO from Marc Ecko Playboy Shoot
Jul 24, 2009 at 12:00 PM
A while ago I promised some goodies from my own camera. After the jump is a slideshow of some images and footage from the day I shot for Playboy Magazine. It was an Homage to Patrick Nagel. We will be doing limited edition prints on T-shirts this Holiday season. I will get flicks of those and post soon! Sorry-- I can't post the selects that are available at Playboy's site. Check out the newstands for the images published images.
I used the same projection technique for my Kim Kardashian shoot for Complex. Peep the footage here!

Hi,
Great article... Must leave you a comment...
My name is Raphaël, young entrepreneur in France. I'm managing director of a graphic design company oriented toward Apparel and Music industries. My partner and I, we've been working for labels and artists while developing our own urban clothing line. Started without any experience in Fashion industry years ago, we finally learnt how to create, manufacture (Asia) and then retail products in specialised stores (France). Visiting Magic Tradeshow at Las Vegas two weeks ago was a very good experience.
Actually, we are looking for a reliable and experienced business partner/investor to support our development.
The way we built our brand let us think that an overseas audience should be sensitive to our branding proposal. We would be very enjoyed to work in any country we could find support and belief in young entrepreneurs and then definitely express ourselves as real fashion designers. You're also invited to visit our website at: www.pussyflex.com (I could send you a brandbook from our French Urban Clothing Kompany).
Could you indicate us specific people in your personnal/professional circle, other companies/organizations we could contact to expose our brand please?
Sorry, I don't used to be so straight...lol. But if I really think about people I have to contact in this US industry, you're just among the first! Even though hard-work, passion and hope are our means to reach our goals, we naturally need support from outside.
Understanding that finding a business partner ain't easy.-) we would also be motivated in a first step to provide our services for other labels like yours for example. Do your companies used to work with freelance designers? This could be the way for us to develop our professional network and then prove our creativity and determination, keeping in mind our final objective to find a business partner for our own line.
Thanks a lot for your attention,
Best regards "et à bientôt",
Raphaël Sorbets
