Freddie Hubbard, a Grammy-winning trumpet player whose powerful, dramatic solos were a strong influence on a younger generation of jazz musicians, died Dec. 29 at Sherman Oaks Hospital in Sherman Oaks, Calif., of complications from a heart attack. He was 70. I grew up geeking out on his music....he played with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers. Peep this amazing footage. So fly. This was 1962.

We will look back at this phenom, and ask ourselves why we got suckered into this shit. These "magical" apps that exist on the iphone turn you into the biggest "tool". High end digital "Spencer's gifts"...erase them no, and I will act like it never happened.
