My artwork for Anthony Zuiker's new Digi-Novel: LEVEL 26!!!!!

Congrats's to my man Anthony Zuiker! Anthony is the creator of the hit TV show CSI. He is a serious gamechanger! I was with him this Saturday on a panel at comic-con, where he introduced his new "digi-novel" to the world.

The book launches on September 8th. I did 20 illustrations inside the novel and the cover design.  When I met Anthony, I was so impressed by the concept of this 360 degree experience, that is largely digital-- that stems from a book, which is so analog-- I had to get involved.  He was and is so passionate about this project, that it is contagious.  We riffed on the idea of the book itself having the charm of a graphic novel, but the intensity of a real read.  Also, since I'm such a geek for Alice in Wonderland, I figured-- let me be his Peter Newell.  I went for a slightly naive style.  The illustrations were inspired by the text.  He would send me excerpts, and I would riff off of those.

Level 26: Dark Origins, to be published by Dutton, is the first in a series in which each book will be supplemented with 20 videos, or "cyber-bridges," featuring actors playing characters from the novel.

EXCLUSIVE: DEXTER SEASON 4 and the new DEXTER iPHONE GAME!

Yesterday we had a cast party at the ivy hotel in San Diego, celebrating the new Dexter iPhone game which will be launching before Season 4.  It was a great day.  The Showtime folks are amazing partners and so cool to work with!  If you don't have Showtime, you don't have TV!!!!!!!

I'm All About Alice!!!!!

This is the new trailer from Tim Burton's flick.  Disney took down the New Trailer for the Tim Burton movie from youtube.  But now you can see it here at MOVIEFONE.com!  Worth a look. Below is how I see...this is an image of my oil painting called "Alice Drop's off a Venti". Of all the things at comic-con that are new  (with the exception of the new Dexter videogame ofcourse), this is the one I'm geeking out on the most. I'm partial.

A while ago I promised some goodies from my own camera.  Here is a slideshow of some images and footage from the day I shot for Playboy Magazine.  It was an Homage to Patrick Nagel. We will be doing limited edition prints on T-shirts this Holiday season.  I will get flicks of those and post soon! Just arrived in San Diego: Here for Comic-Con.

I'm staying on Coronado island for a few days. Will chill and do some work at Comic Con.  About to get my geek on.  Having a party with Complex/Showtime for Dexter the Videogame.  We will showcase the latest trailer this week. Also, I will be with Anthony Zuicker; who is launching LEVEL 26 this week.  He's a mad man. It will be a great time. Will post along the way...
