The Best of the China Art Scene--

Here's a video that barely covers 10% of the scene. From Beijing's 798 to Chao Cheng Di-- to the MOCA in Shanghai.  The scene is ambitious and despite popular beleif-- provocative and highly suggestive in the face of a Communist country. China is changing folks. The art scene is their Hip-Hop or Punk Rock movement.   To see more click on My Camera for PART 1 and Part 2.

Fascinating stuff. Thanks for documenting this. I'm curious about the economy of this art movement. What pays for all this stuff? How does art thrive under a communist system? I need to learn more about this.
