Sep 4, 2009 at 8:04 AM Damn Ricardo Montalbán was a badass. He made geeks look like cassanova's on Star Trek. No one else had that handle.
But Captain Caveman used that naive ugly guy charm to mack 3 girls at a time. The teen angels were sexy little nuggets. He wasn't a pathetic self-effacing caveman like those Geico losers. He was like-- "i'm hairy. I'm strong beyond my own comprehension. I'm manly and dirty. And your lady is mine son".
I still thing Ron Isley has them all beat. He's like -- "peep the eyebrows honey." Gangster. You put on an Isley Brothers record, and you get horny like Austin Powers.
Sep 3, 2009 at 10:34 AM Warhol was so commercial. You have to love this video. Wow. Sort of like the invention of the 8-Track. Andy Warhol paints Debbie Harry on an Amiga at the Commodore Amiga product launch press conference in 1985.

This is brilliant usage of materials. I've always been fascinated with baseball catchers vests, and any other sporting good that gives you that "robo cop" armor vibe. Very smart to use that construction on Bags. Gilad is a student at the Shenkar College of Engineering and Design in Ramat Gan, Israel.

The work of art student Rob Matthews. He actually tried to reproduce Wikipedia in a physical version. Sick. Via brainpickings.org I love that site! Not to be cynical, but I think this is photoshop frankensteined. I still like the notion.
